Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They keep you signed in, remember your preferences and, if you accept them, measure how the site is used. Some similar technologies, such as local storage, serve the same purpose.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies make the service work and do not require your consent, because we could not provide the service without them.

• Supabase session cookies: keep you signed in and prevent session hijacking. Without them you cannot log in.
• Vercel BotID anti-automation protection: used on sensitive forms and endpoints to tell people apart from bots. Disabling it weakens spam protection.
• Google reCAPTCHA: loaded on every page to detect automated use, and additionally on the registration, publishing and password-recovery forms.

These technologies share data with Google and Vercel, both in the United States. See the privacy policy for the legal basis we rely on.

3. Analytics cookies (require your consent)

They only load if you press "Accept all" in the cookie notice or switch them on in "Cookie preferences". If you decline them, the site works exactly the same.

• Vercel Analytics: measures aggregated page views, traffic sources and navigation paths.
• Vercel Speed Insights: measures site loading performance in aggregate.

These tools measure data in aggregate and do not sell it. You can withdraw your consent at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

4. Advertising

The site shows third-party advertising that pays for its running costs. You cannot switch it off, but ads that do not depend on your previous activity are still shown.

• Google AdSense and Funding Choices: Funding Choices asks whether you accept personalised advertising. If you accept, ads adapt to your browsing; if you decline, they are shown unpersonalised and earn us less.

You can change your analytics decision at any time from this panel.

5. Local storage

Besides cookies, we store some information in your browser local storage:

• foxyads_cookie_consent: records your cookie decision so we do not ask again on every visit.
• Theme (light or dark), language and country preferences.
• Your search alerts and saved listings, so you can find them again.

6. How to change your decision

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, which opens a panel where you switch analytics cookies on or off. If you withdraw, those tools stop loading immediately.

You can also delete cookies from your browser settings, though that may sign you out and make the notice appear again.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we add new cookies or change the ones we use. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
